The next Open Meeting is on Monday 18th November when author Susan Grossey will give her talk entitled ‘Writing Historical Fiction: Blending Truth and Imagination’.
Susan is the author of the Sam Plank Mysteries, seven historical crime novels set in London in the 1820s. She is also now working on the Cambridge Hardiman Mysteries series: five novels set in her home town of Cambridge, again in the 1820s but more provincial and old-fashioned than the great metropolis and, of course, set in the late Regency period of which Susan is a fan.
There will be the usual free entry, free raffle and free refreshments and plenty of socialising with your u3a friends. See you there.
