There are two groups which meet on Tuesdays from 10am to 12noon and 2pm to 4pm in the Group Leaders home.
The groups are learning to make “twirlies” to begin with before graduating to shawls and blankets, or anything else they would like to learn to make.
I have room for more members in morning meeting 10 - 12 every Tuesday. Contact Sue - details above.
Our Happy Hookers group decided to make hats and donate them to Winter Comforts which is a homeless shelter in Cambridge which offers information and support to homeless people. We made about 35 in a variety of styles for both sexes. Hopefully it will help to keep them warm during the winter months.
