We have Open Meetings with a guest speaker on the 3rd Monday of the month (except December). These are at 2.30 pm in the Bowls Club, Abbey Lane, Saffron Walden. Doors open at 1.45pm.
The Theatre and Travel Group has a range of trips to places of interest, and to theatres and concerts, usually at least one per month. Holidays are also arranged for members. Details are included below. Representatives of this group will have a table at the start of each Open Meeting to discuss and take bookings for future events. Bowls Club
Like every other venue, the Bowls Club has Fire Regulations that have to be followed. These Fire Regulations stipulate that the maximum capacity is 100 people. Should we ever reach 100 members at any Bowls Club u3a Meeting, we would have to refuse any further entry. Thank you for your understanding.
